- All applicants for this position must provide the County with a prequalification review through the Alberta Safety Codes Council for their application to be considered. This review will outline what courses are necessary for certification as an Alberta Safety Codes Officer, Building.
- Previous building /construction experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- The ability to successfully undertake the training required to become a Safety Codes Officer, Building. This includes providing proof of completion of any number of the required courses and training.
- High level of interpersonal skills, diplomacy and professionalism including strong oral and written communication competence.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite and familiar with GIS applications.
- Demonstrate exceptional work ethic, reliability and accountability.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to participate and contribute to a team environment.
