Applicants must have a diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from a recognized educational institution and a minimum of 3 years’ experience developing and/or maintaining an occupational health and safety management system in a corporate environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Applicants must possess:
- A WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid certification
- A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
- A membership in Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST), National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).
This is a CUPE bargaining unit position based on a 35-hour work week. The hourly wage is $41.48, increasing to $43.66 upon successful completion of probation (Jan 2024 Rates).
