Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the Manager, Ontario Works Operations, the Manager, Ontario Works and Gender Based Violence is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Ontario Works program and related services including managing a team of employees and purchase of service contracts. This position helps ensure program accountability through assessment, development and implementation of service delivery processes and initiatives. This position also brings a focus to creating and strengthening the programs approach, partnerships and protocols in addressing and preventing gender-based violence amongst the individuals and families served. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a university degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Business or Public Administration or in a relevant area of study or equivalent combination of education and related professional and lived community experience.
  • Three to five years related experience working within gender-based violence in social services including demonstrated experience leading a team and projects.
Salary & Benefits

Compensation & Other Information:

$87,024 - $113,644

This posting is for 1 temporary full-time up to 2 years position.

This position is currently under review.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
