Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must possess current Ontario Government Certificate of Qualifications – Truck and Coach Technician (310T)
- A preferred asset would be a current Ontario Government Certificate of Qualifications Automotive Service Technician (310S)
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario, Class “G” Driver’s License and must be able to travel to different work locations to perform mechanical duties, as assigned. Must have a clean driving record.
- Must provide own mechanics tools up to and including ½” drive sockets and wrenches to 1 ¼” sizings.
- Minimum three (3) years progressive experience of diesel engines including transmissions, differentials, electrical, hydraulics, air brake systems, welding/fabricating. Experience in automotive mechanics would be an asset.
- Knowledge of CVOR requirements and regulations is required.
- Knowledge of small engines and generator repairs would be an asset.
- Proficient in the use of computer applications such Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills with a proven focus on service delivery.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract deemed satisfactory to the employer.
Salary: $34.06/hour

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday. Must be available for call-ins and overtime.
