Reporting to the Supervisor of HR Digitization, Pension and Payroll, the HR Systems & Digitization Analyst provides support to the HR department and the County of Simcoe by providing HR data through generating analysis and insights, assisting in the development, digitization, and optimization of HR processes. In addition, provide HR level technical support and end user support to HR software systems and related processes.

Requirements

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS & CERTIFICATION
•    Degree in Human Resources, or related field that would provide knowledge to support decision making and analysis in this role or equivalent additional recent years of related experience.

•    Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

•    Data compilation, reporting, trend and forecast analysis required, with a strong knowledge of Excel.

•    Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to work with all levels of End Users, technical and consulting personnel, ensuring their requirements, and testing needs are fully met and understood by all parties.

•    Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and be detail oriented and focused with the ability to manage simultaneous deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

•    Familiarity with automated testing tools.

•    Experience working with one of the following: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or similar BI toolsets for the analysis and creation of data visualizations, dashboards and reports, would be considered an asset.  

•    General knowledge of relevant employment legislation, acts and regulations, and current HR and Payroll practices. Has an ability to read, understand, and apply collective agreements and corporate policies.

•    Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in core competencies regarding customer service, teamwork, initiative/self-management and accountability, adult learning principles, and flexibility/adaptability.

•    Proficiency in MS Office software applications.

•    Valid G Class Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle to use on corporate business.

EXPERIENCE
•    In-depth knowledge of Human Resources functions and related software gained through a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with computerized Human Resources and Payroll software, including at least 2 years in an SAP environment. Familiarity with applications for LMS, H&S, ASP, Succession Planning, ESS/MSS, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding and Offboarding etc. in a unionized environment would be a strong asset.

Salary & Benefits

$88,234.00 - $107,362.00 per annum
