Accounts Payable Technician
(3 Month Full-Time Summer Position – June to August 2024)
Location: Administration Building, High River, AB (on-site)
Foothills County encompasses a diverse rural landscape covering approximately 3,600 square kilometres located in the foothills of southern Alberta. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to work within our team for the summer season (June to August).
Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Accounts Payable Technician provides clerical and administrative support to the Finance department in the accounts payable area.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- A final year accounting student or certificate from a school of accounting/business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft office products.
- Must possess accurate data input skills and be detail oriented.
- Strong computer and database management skills. Experience with Great Plains Dynamics would be considered an asset.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills in person and telephone.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with proven ability to work in a team environment.
