About the Role:

Join our team as a vital member responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in our Child-Minding program. As part of our dynamic team located at the city's recreation facilities, you'll play a key role in providing supervision, fostering enjoyment, and facilitating educational activities for our young patrons. If you have a passion for working with children and ensuring their well-being, this role is perfect for you.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent high school diploma.
  • One (1) year of experience working in childcare and/or babysitting.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR certificates are required.
  • An equivalent combination of Management approved training and experience may be considered.

Additional Requirements: 

This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and requires the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.
