About You / What We Are Looking For

 

Coquitlam’s Parks, Recreation, Culture and Facilities department is currently recruiting for auxiliary Building Services Attendants to join our team!  This position is a great opportunity to join the City and see what the City has to offer!  The successful candidate will be setting up and moving furniture and equipment at a wide variety of recreational facilities. This position will also be responsible for cleaning and maintenance of buildings.

The ideal candidate will bring a positive and up-beat attitude when performing a multitude of cleaning and moving tasks and will enjoy providing an exceptional level of customer service for our residents and City colleagues. If you enjoy performing manual work, while interacting with the public, we encourage you to apply!             

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Completion of some high school.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekend.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Some related experience is preferred but not essential. An equivalent combination of training and experience may also be considered.

 

What We Offer:

 

This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $25.22 - $29.48 (2024 rates) plus 12% in-lieu of benefits. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
