Description
Cedar Hill Recreation Campus is recruiting for a permanent full-time Building Services Supervisor to perform supervisory and maintenance work ensuring effective and efficient on-going maintenance services for buildings and equipment. The Building Services Supervisor plans and performs routine cleaning and maintenance work as well as supervision, scheduling and training of full time, part-time and casual staff and ensures the smooth operation of all programs and activities occurring in the Cedar Hill Campus buildings (Recreation Centre and Golf Course). 

The successful candidate will work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays (hours/shifts are subject to change).

Requirements

Requirements include: Grade 12 or equivalent; WHMIS certification valid within 1 year; Occupational First Aid Level I as required; two years’ experience in the building maintenance field including one year of experience in a supervisory capacity within the past 5 years; valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence; and sufficient physical strength to perform the work and stamina to work varying shifts. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Salary & Benefits

This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $38.84 per hour (2024 rate) plus an excellent benefits package.
