Working under the direction of the Coordinator, Engineering, this position assists the Public Works Department with asset management, records management, maintenance management and GIS; preparation and administration of technical studies and reports; review and action utility locate requests; asset and condition assessment inventory; and assist with operations capital projects.
Education and Qualifications:
Required qualifications and experience will include a college diploma in Civil Engineering or GIS, and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Related experience in a municipal public works environment would be considered an asset.
Demonstrated competency in CAD, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Database, Outlook), and excellent verbal and written communication.
Salary Range: $31.71 - $38.12/hr., based on a 35-hour work week.
