About You / What We Are Looking For

We are currently looking for general interest Recreation Instructors who are passionate about sharing their expertise providing conversational language instruction for adults who wish to learn Japanese and Korean.

Shifts are varied throughout the year and programs run out of different facilities in the City, however, the primary location will be at Glen Pine Pavilion.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidates will be team players with excellent communication and people skills.  Prior instructing and/or coaching experience is required.  An intermediate level of proficiency (both written and verbal) in either Korean or Japanese is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Emergency First Aid and CPR ‘C’ certification or equivalent is an asset.

What We Offer:

The City offers an hourly wage starting at $27.98 per hour + 4% in lieu of benefits.  In addition, you can anticipate a lively, fast-paced environment, plus opportunities for personal and professional growth.  Applicants under consideration will be required to undergo a police security clearance evaluation (with no adverse reports).
