Description
Cedar Hill Recreation Campus is recruiting for a temporary full-time Building Service Worker I.  The successful candidate will be responsible for routine work performing custodial care, cleaning and daily maintenance of municipal buildings and facilities. This position requires sound knowledge of custodial and maintenance procedures and experience with up-to-date cleaning methods, minor building and equipment repair, and the use, care and upkeep of the materials and equipment used.

Requirements

Requirements include Grade 11 or equivalent; Building Service Worker Level 1; hard floor and carpet care certification as required; three months related experience; WHMIS certification valid within one year; Occupational First Aid Level I as required and a satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check (PIC-VS). Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The successful candidate will work varying shifts including evenings, overnights and weekends (hours/shifts are subject to change).

Salary & Benefits

This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 positions with a wage of $31.22 per hour and an additional 15% pay in lieu of benefits.
