The City of Coquitlam is seeking a high energy and skilled Regular Full Time Cemetery Worker who can help care for and upkeep the cemetery.
In this role, the Cemetery Worker will be responsible for maintaining the lawn, as well as maintaining cleanliness of the washrooms and buildings and assisting with interments, including spotting the caretaker while they use heavy equipment. You will perform a variety of grounds tasks, including lawn maintenance, and will utilize equipment such as leaf blowers, line trimmers and power mowers to perform your daily work. If you would like to utilize your skills in building maintenance and landscaping, and would like to be an integral part of the maintenance and operations of the cemetery, we look forward to your application!

Minimum Qualifications
- Completed some high school.
- Some related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- A driver’s license for the province of British Columbia.

This CUPE position has an hourly rate of $31.82. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
