JOB SUMMARY
The Organizational Development and Learning Specialist, Instructional Design has a primary focus on the development and design of multi-modal learning solutions for the organization, including stewardship of the Learning Management System.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successful delivery of on time, full scope, and on-budget multi-modal learning solutions
- Successful Facilitation and delivery of training as needed
- Vendor procurement and management
- Provide end-to-end learning life cycle execution for e-learning and in-person learning solutions
- Develop and refine existing learning programs including the mandatory learning and select-in programming
- Work where appropriate in partnership with People Services colleagues to optimize learning design and delivery
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in adult education and/or instructional design
- A minimum of two years of experience in OD&L specialist/designer level role, designing e-learning (level 1, 2, and 3), in-personal learning, LMS execution, vendor engagement, consulting with clients, and administration learning programming and systems at scale
- Intermediate functional competency in course authoring software such as Storyline 360, Camtasia, or similar
- Experience administering and executing at scale LMS systems including report production
- Demonstrated strong instructional design skills for e-learning and in-person learning including end-to-end execution of learning life cycle for a wide scope of projects
- Experience delivering within the project management triple constraint approach and in a fast paced environment characterized by evolving priorities, consultation and strong results orientation
- Demonstrated experience managing and partnering with relevant vendors
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work with strong organization, coherency, consistency, and handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and confidentiality
