In this role, you are an ambassador and demonstrate leadership regarding Planning and Development processes, facilitating engagement and building collaborative working relationships with both internal and external parties of the Planning and Development Department. You proactively explore continuous improvement opportunities in customer service, processes and consistency in application of regulations and requirements. You will routinely investigate and follow-up on issues that are often controversial and that require a high level of tact and diplomacy.

Qualifications
- You have completed a degree in planning, land economics, architecture, stakeholder relations, management, conflict resolution, public administration, communication or related from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- You have seven (7) years of experience providing advice and guidance, with proven successful results in planning and development issues and processes.
