Reporting to the GM of Development Services and working as part of the Department Head Team, the Director of Engineering Services plans, organizes, controls and directs activities of the Engineering Department including strategic infrastructure planning and review associated with land development in Brandon, traffic management, and municipal assets (asset management) for the entire City.

Requirements

EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related Engineering program;

• Membership in or ability to acquire membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists in the Province of Manitoba

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in managing for efficiency and effectiveness to bring about change in a municipal and unionized environment;

• Substantial progressive leadership (minimum of 4-6 years);

• Experience in project management;

• Experience in procurement and administration of Engineering Service Providers

Salary & Benefits

Rate of Pay: $125,226.21 - $135,113.03 - 2023 Annual Rates
