The Aquatic Assistant is responsible for helping the lifeguards ensure the safety and well-being of patrons through education and training. The Aquatic Assistant must be able to perform first aid as required, ensuring effective, efficient, and safe operations of the facility while procedures and safety of the staff and patrons in the aquatic centre are maintained.
Responsibilities
You will provide support to staff, user groups, and the community by assisting in ensuring a safe and fun aquatic area. You'll be responsible for assisting in ensuring rules and procedures are followed while utilizing aquatic amenities. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You Bring
- Minimum 16 years of age
- AEC or equivalent
Hours
24-plus hours, including nights and weekends.
Salary/Wage
The rate of pay is in accordance with the CUPE Collective agreement and will be $21.54 per hour.
