The Business Transformation Specialist will provide organizational support in partnership with the City's IT department to corporate initiatives advocating a unified approach. You will work with leaders and teams across the organization to help them implement new business process within the technology and software consistent with corporate strategy.

- Has excellent business partner skills with strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse project teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Has demonstrated strong understanding and use of project management methodology, through the phases of a project lifecycle.
- Has demonstrated the ability to understand and integrate the people, process, and technology elements of workflow for sustainable change solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to use a systematic approach and independent judgement to make sound decisions and recommendations.
- Is a transformational change agent for the organization and show resiliency and flexibility during change management, and the awareness and prevention of change fatigue.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a two (2) year diploma in Business, Project Management, Enterprise Technology, or related field, from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Five (5) years of transformational business experience with a preferred concentration in enterprise technology, program management, business, and relevant financial knowledge, preferably in a municipal setting.
- Hold or eligibility to obtain the Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional (PMP) designation.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered.
