The City of Medicine Hat, Information Technology (IT) department has an exciting and challenging position for a capable Support Technician. You will be part of a team that performs the front line Service Desk support, computer, device and printer setup and general office duties.
Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of computer devices, Desktop operating systems and hardware, computer networks, Smart Devices (iOS and Android), Network operating systems (Active Directory), and computer management software (System Center Configuration Manager). In addition, you will have working knowledge of office administration. Clear written and oral communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications:
- Successful completion of two (2) year diploma in Computer Technology or related field from a recognized post-secondary or technical institution;
- Two (2) years' experience in a related technical support position;
- Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Drivers License with an acceptable driving record;
- A management approved combination of education and experience may be considered.
