Mechanic

Wage: $32.46 per hour and comprehensive benefits package
Hours of work: 40 hours per week

The Municipality of Trent Lakes is seeking a qualified Mechanic.
Qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 education;
- Truck and Coach 310T Technician license;
- Automotive Service 310S Technician license considered an asset;
- Minimum three years of experience in the trade as a licensed technician;
- Recent experience in heavy construction equipment operation and repair;
- Proven ability to operate diagnostic software;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Highway Traffic Act Regulation 575 and 611;
- Demonstrated recent working knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems and be proficient in the use of gas, arc and mig welding as well as plasma cutter, metal fabricating and hydraulic hose crimper;
- Must have, and maintain, a valid class “D” driver’s license with a “Z” Endorsement as well as a clean driver abstract.
