TECHNICAL COORDINATOR (UNDER REVIEW)

Responsible for providing a range of administrative services, including but not limited to, assist to input, update, and monitor Division’s operating and capital projects, leading the coordination of traffic engineering projects, assist with preparation of capital budgets and plans, maintain project schedules, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating and responding to citizen traffic inquiries.
Qualifications and experience:
University Bachelor's degree prefer in civil/Transportation Engineering or Planning program, business Administration, Geography or suitable equivalent. Certified Engineering Technologist designation or Professional Engineers Ontario. Three (3) years in a project management environment. Excellent working experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Knowledge of GIS (e.g. ArcGIS) will be an asset. Strategic and analytical thinker with strong project management and planning skills, coupled with time management abilities. Excellent report writing, communication, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated effective communications. Possesses a valid "G" driver 's license in good standing and access to a vehicle for corporate use. Ability to work outside normal business hours, as required and in accordance with the Part Time Collective Agreement. Current hours are Monday to Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
