In addition you will perform scanning service, confidential destruction services, records management duties as well as assisting other staff in the performance of their duties in the records centre and mail room. In addition, you will assist in training City staff in records management, and mailroom as required. You will provide assistance to external service providers, and will support the Records Manager in a variety of projects as needed.
You have completed Grade 12 supplemented by several courses in word processing, office practices and advanced PC office applications, and have at least two years’ experience and training in an office environment with some supervisory experience. In addition you will have effective communication and inter-personal skills and ability to perform clerical tasks according to established department rules and regulations. A minimum typing speed of 60 wpm is required.
