We are seeking a dynamic individual who will project manage capital projects to repair the Towns infrastructure, including roads, water, sewer and facilities, for a two year term. The incumbent will provide support to the Manager of Operations, as part of a team that will support reconstruction of damaged town infrastructure resulting from recent floods. This position requires broad knowledge and understanding of typical municipal operations in order to provide oversight and support to renewal projects including engineering, infrastructure, parks, community facilities as well as public service amenities.
To prepare for this position, you have completed post-secondary education in Engineering with a P. Eng designation from APEGGA and 4 years related experience or Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma with 6 years related experience or Project Management Professional Certification with 6 years related experience. Your demonstrated strategic approach, analytical thinking, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ensure your success in this position.
