We are seeking a dynamic individual who will provide guidance, support and knowledge in all aspects of human resources management, with a primary focus on supporting and overseeing the recruitment and employment coordination function within the organization. This role reports directly to the Manager of Human Resources, and will also provide coverage and support in the absence of other HR team members. If you would like the opportunity to be instrumental in fostering a positive work culture and work closely with all levels of the organization, we encourage you to consider joining our team!

Requirements

To prepare for this position, you have completed post secondary education in Human Resources (diploma or degree) and have three to five years of recruitment experience or HR generalist experience with a recruitment focus.  Ideally, you have your CHRP designation, or are working towards achieving the designation.  Your demonstrated strategic approach, analytical thinking, proven ability to develop and maintain trust and confidentiality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ensure your success in this position.  Your experience in a unionized and non-unionized environment will be evident in your ability to advise and assist employees and management in areas of employee and labour relations.
