MANAGER, ENGINEERING
The Town of Collingwood has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Engineering. You will report to the Director, Public Works & Engineering and be responsible for managing the Engineering Division. The Manager of Engineering will be responsible for directing, planning and leading the divisional staff, coordinating annual division budget requirements including multiyear capital and operating forecasts, preparing reports for consideration, attending Council meetings, designing and construction of roads, water, wastewater systems and building assets, development reviews & agreements, requests for proposal and other engineering documents and other duties.
You will bring with you a University degree in Civil Engineering and P.Eng. designation from the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario or college diploma in Civil Engineering Technologist and C.E.T. Designation from the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists together with three (3) to seven (7) years’ of related experience including five (5) years’ at a senior management level with a municipal government.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary with an excellent benefit package. Starting salary will depend on compensation history and qualifications.
