Due to the varied skill set that this position requires the successful candidate will be willing to learn new skills and grow as a team member and is someone who is self-motivated, works well in a team atmosphere and independently as well as someone who possesses technical and mechanical skills. Specifically, the successful candidate should possess:
- Excellent organization and communication skills;
- Basic email and computer data entry skills;
- Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills;
- A willingness to learn about and assist with plant operations on an as needed basis;
- Work experience where safety, environmental compliance and documentation were a focus; and,
- Valid driver’s license.
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess:
- Experience in environmental monitoring and data management; and,
- Experience in the maintenance and operation of various equipment.
The normal work hours for this position are 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday morning (7 am – noon).
