- Successful completion of a three (3) year Community College Diploma Program in Transportation or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in traffic engineering environment and operations including technical analysis.
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license and reliable vehicle for use on corporate business.
- Demonstrated knowledge of traffic control devices, pavement marking standards and signs.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including customer service, communication, team work, initiative/self-management and accountability, and flexibility/adaptability.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, traffic bylaws and policies.
- Computer literacy utilizing MS Office software applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, data base and presentation software as well as proficiency with the application of specialized software relevant to the technical specialty.
- Strong communication skills to prepare correspondence and reports on technical and non-technical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data and provide recommendations.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.
Salary $40.08 - $43.56 per hour
