Course Overview

EXASB 6102: Leading Self and Others explores the realities of leadership in the 21st century by analyzing how personal behavioral preferences directly impact team dynamics. This core course shifts focus inward first, prompting participants to understand how their own experiences shape their professional belief systems before expanding into how they direct, influence, and coach others.

A central feature of the curriculum is the mandatory completion of a DiSC Assessment prior to the course start date. This assessment helps leaders evaluate four foundational personality aspects—Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness—to map team styles, maximize collaboration, and accelerate organizational productivity.
