Description
The AORS Public Works Leadership Development Program (PWLDP) was developed to help public works managers and supervisors develop and improve the skills they need to be top leaders for their municipalities. It is also an effective tool for municipalities who want to implement a workforce planning strategy to develop future leaders in preparation for the upcoming demographic shift. The eight modules of the PWLDP are pre-requisites for the Certified Road Supervisor (CRS) accreditation.
The final three modules (Process Management, Continuous Improvement, and Communications) are being offered online August 18, 19 & 20, 2026. These 3 modules qualify towards the CRS-Senior designation. Modules may be taken individually or in blocks; a Certification of Completion is awarded once all 8 modules are successfully completed.
