The annual event travels nationwide and welcomes about 1,500 attendees from businesses, governments (municipal, provincial, territorial, and federal), associations, academia and other organizations. In 2024, TAC is pleased to work with local Conference co-hosts, the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the City of Vancouver and TransLink,
Themed "Technology & Transformation," the 2024 #TACConf will examine how technological advances are giving us extraordinary new tools to build and operate transportation systems. The conference will feature sessions that explore the benefits of emerging digital innovations for transportation system managers, service providers, and end users.
More than 300 presenters combine to deliver 100+ technical sessions, panel discussions, and workshops organized under TAC’s Focus Areas of Safety, Design and Operations; Infrastructure and Asset Management; Mobility; Environment and Climate Change; Technology; and Workforce Development. The Conference’s local organizing committee plans technical tours that provide behind-the-scenes access and insights into regional transportation infrastructure projects and facilities.
The Exhibition showcases the latest products, services, and innovations in transportation.
