Description
The Labour Relations Seminar (LRS) is an annual event held in partnership with Hicks Morley—the largest firm in Canada that focus on representing management in human resources law and advocacy. Over the two-day seminar, chief fire officers, senior municipal officials and human resource professionals will participate and experience presentations from the expert legal team at Hicks Morley, Ontario chief fire officers, and renowned guest speakers who will all provide insight and up-to-date knowledge and guidance on a wide range of labour relations issues currently impacting the fire service.

Preceding the seminar are the Labour Relations Wokshops 101 & 201 on January 24. Whether Labour Relations is new to you, or you are looking for a refresher course, these workshops are a great opportunity to learn the basics when dealing with employment law, collective agreements, bargaining, arbitration, and the grievance process.
