Register Today for Our 2nd Webinar in the Vision Zero Series

Vision Zero is a traffic safety initiative that requires designers to consider the needs of all users and provides infrastructure that is designed for all ages, abilities, and forms of transportation. In the spring, Intact Public Entities and OGRA offered the first webinar in the Improving Road User Safety series that discussed the driver and their need for information, when and where they require it to make decisions and how to take appropriate action.

Improving Road User Safety – Pedestrian Safety

Road user safety is improved when all users are aware of the hazards that surround them. This second webinar in the 3-part series will discuss issues faced by pedestrians as they cross the street. This webinar will also discuss: 1) pedestrian issues before and while crossing a street, 2) counter measures that improve pedestrian safety, and 3) information required to select the appropriate counter measure.

Target Audience:
This 60-minute webinar will be of interest to councillors, senior managers and engineers who require an overview of current measures to improve safety of all road users.
