Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural ResourceManagement or related discipline from a recognized technical instituteor equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year related environmental, biodiversity, natural resourceor conservation planning/management experience.
- International Society of Arboriculture (I.S.A.) Certified Arborist.
- Certified Tree Risk Assessor certification.
- Possession of a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.
- Possession of a valid BC Pesticide Applicator’s certificate.
This is a CUPE bargaining unit position based on a 40-hour work week. The hourly wage is $40.91, increasing to $43.06 upon successful completion of probation (Jan 2024 Rates). The wage level for this position is subject to confirmation under a union/management jointly negotiated job evaluation plan.
