Join our dynamic team as a vital contributor to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our recreation facilities. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our patrons by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and assisting with minor maintenance tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in facility operations while working within a supportive team environment.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have flexible schedule availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and irregular hours.
  • Working knowledge of custodial techniques, cleaning equipment, and cleaning supplies.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of general maintenance principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and the public.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Reliability and dependability in upholding safety protocols.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent high school diploma.
  • Minimum of three (3) months of relevant experience in aquatic, dryland, and ice recreation facility operations.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and ability to use power and hand tools and equipment.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR certificates are required.
  • An equivalent combination of Management approved training and experience may be considered.

This position has been identified as Safety Sensitive and requires the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment drug screen.
