The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Manager, Provincial Offences Court this role is responsible for providing administrative support within the Provincial Offences Court, maintaining court decorum and professionalism, and providing excellent customer service to all persons involved in the day to day operations of the Court.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

Training and knowledge in the above, normally acquired from a Post-secondary degree or diploma in Court Administration, or a closely related field. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years related experience in a legal environment, with a demonstrated understanding of the Provincial Offences Act, regulatory processes, related legislation and by-laws and of court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience responding to general and complex queries at the counter, by telephone or by mail for clients across the province. We are seeking an individual with superior verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to exercise significant discretion and sensitivity, and excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Satisfactory passing of a criminal record check, and proof of qualifications will be required of any successful candidate for this position.

Salary & Benefits

Grade 5: $54,411,54 - $64,581.56
